Key Responsibilities
- Review and proofread submitted documents for grammatical, spelling, typographical formatting errors.
- Conduct fact-checking as necessary to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure contents of documents meet company policies and requirements for publishing
- Ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy in all submitted documents
- Make corrections for writing inconsistencies, errors and suggest to edit the documents.
- Check against original copy to confirm all corrections have been made and confirm for publishing.
- Maintain company deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members, other departments and able to work under pressure.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 2 and above years of experience as a proofreader or similar role.
- Prior experience in proofreading roles and working in media industry is advantageous.
