The Opportunity
The Education Program Manager will lead the implementation of the EU-funded project, “Enhancing the Economic and Social Inclusion of Refugees and Host Communities in Ura through a Multisectoral Approach,” focusing on education and protection for refugee and host community children and adolescents. Based in Benishangul Gumuz, the role will oversee field-level activities and coordinate closely with UNICEF, Assosa University, government education bureaus, UNHCR, RRS, and other partners to ensure effective delivery and integration of project objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MS/BA/S in Education, Project Planning and Management or any other related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working in Education, attitude change programming, refugee education and integration of refugee with in hosting community-Makatet real time experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in project coordination, management or monitoring.
- Proven experiences and ability to coordinate and collaborate with different civil society and Community based organization;
- Demonstrable working experience in humanitarian and development programme;
- Ability to communicate effectively and authoritatively on area of expertise, and influence others to reach common goals;
- Demonstrated track record in donor reporting and budget management;
- Experience in leading team, coaching and mentoring, especially managing a large team.
