The Opportunity
The post holder will coordinate the EU-INTPA project partners and the PIE field team in the targeted region, refugee camps and host communities to make sure that projects are implemented in target locations as per the agreement entered into with the donor and other monitoring agencies, UNHCR and RRs. offices. He/she will be providing hands-on guidance, support, mentoring and coaching to frontline staff, including Coordinators, Officers, and Social Workers, etc, to ensure smooth and quality implementation of the project. Moreover, he/she will coordinate and support the implementation of the project by other consortium members, providing the required quality, liaising with the donor, and submitting timely and high-quality reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MA/BA, MSc/BSc degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Education, Disaster Management, Humanitarian Sciences, Child Development, Development Studies, Sociology, Social Work, or other related fields.
- Over ten years of experience, including a minimum of six years in consortium program/project management within the UN/NGO sector.
- Adequate experience in implementing consortium programs/projects in refugee and host community contexts.
- Proven experience in managing complex and large project budgets exceeding 15 million Euros.
- Expertise in developing and implementing Child Protection and Education projects.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and standards for child protection and child participation, including the Minimum Standards for Child Protection and Education in humanitarian contexts.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and established international child protection standards, including Sphere Standards, Sphere Companion Standards, Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS), and the Code of Conduct for Red Cross/Red Crescent and NGOs.
