Position Summary
The Program Officer is responsible for monitoring and supporting regional staff implementing an innovative secondary education program. She/He will ensure program quality, adherence to implementation plans, and provide technical guidance to regional teams. The Program Officer will report to the Program Manager.
The Program Officer is responsible for:
- Program Implementation Support: Oversee and provide technical support to regional staff to ensure effective and high-quality implementation of the assigned program/project.
- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting: Track program progress, collect and analyze data, and ensure timely reporting on key indicators.
- Capacity Building and Technical Assistance: Support training and professional development for regional/field teams to strengthen program implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination: Work closely with government, local partners, and other stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
- Program Quality and Compliance: Ensure that program activities align with Geneva Global Ethiopia’s quality standards, donor requirements, and national education policies.
In fulfillment of these responsibilities, the Program Officer coordinates closely with other members of the GG-Eth team to ensure a fully coherent and effective overall program design, implementation, and outcomes.

Qualifications
- BA degree in Education Planning and Measurement, Pedagogy, or Leadership.
- 2-5 years of experience in program management within the NGO sector.
- Strong ability to design and implement education programs.
- Proven experience in providing training for teachers and leaders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
