Job Summary
The Consortium Support Specialist will support People in Need (PIN), as the lead agency, in the effective coordination, management, and oversight of the ECHO-funded WASH Top-up consortium implemented with FIDO and CoC across complex and conflict-affected locations in Ethiopia.
The position is primarily responsible for supporting the ERRPM in ensuring strong consortium governance, compliance with ECHO requirements, effective partner coordination, timely reporting, and risk management. The role will work very closely with the RISE Consortium Led to ensure coherence, harmonization, and learning across PIN-led consortia, while maintaining a clear operational focus on the WASH Top-up.
The Consortium Support Specialist will play a critical role in strengthening internal coordination, partner performance monitoring, documentation, and communication, contributing to high-quality implementation and donor confidence.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification
- Advanced university degree in Humanitarian Studies, Development Studies, WASH, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in humanitarian programming, with demonstrated experience in consortium or partnership management.
- Proven experience working on ECHO-funded projects and familiarity with ECHO rules, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting multi-partner projects in complex or conflict-affected contexts, preferably in Ethiopia.
- Understanding of WASH programming in emergencies is a strong asset.

- Strong coordination, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizations.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, etc.).
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Amharic is a strong asset.
